Location: On-site at Bagalur, Tamil Nadu
Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Breeder to support our vegetable breeding and seed development programs. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about plant breeding, field research, hybrid development, and practical agricultural innovation. The selected candidate will work closely with the breeding and R&D team in planning, executing. and monitoring breeding trials across multiple research locations.
Preferred Crops
Experience in one or more vegetable crops such as:
Tomato, Chilli, Okra, Gourds, Cucumber, Brinjal, Melons, or Cole Crops
Qualifications
- M.Sc./Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Vegetable Science, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in vegetable breeding or vegetable seed industry preferred
- Freshers with strong practical exposure may also apply
Important Requirement
Candidates must have their own two-wheeler or personal transport, as the work locations are rural/remote and the role involves regular commuting between company research sites.
