Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing vegetable crop. Experience in managing trials and demonstrations is helpful. Enjoys working directly with farmers and is capable of independently handling field activities from planning through data collection. Should be organized, proactive, comfortable with technology, and willing to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Role Description

• Execute regional crop show and farmer field trials.
• Identify and coordinate with farmers for regional crop shows and trial implementation.
• Ensure timely sowing, transplanting, crop management, and adherence to agronomic practices.
• Monitor crop performance, collect trial data, and prepare reports in prescribed formats.
• Support the product and Sales team during field visits and product evaluations.
• Coordinate with farmers, breeders, sales, and marketing teams for product evaluation and development.
• Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports.
• Travel extensively across Western Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

Skills and competencies

• Strong passion and practical knowledge of vegetable cultivation.
• Good understanding of agronomic practices and field trial management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with farmers.
• Disciplined, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, MS Excel, and digital reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in field conditions

Education & experience

• B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Botany, or
• Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture
• 3-4 years of field-level experience in growing vegetable crops
