CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Banana / Fresh Produce / Agriculture Quality.
• Strong field + operational quality experience.
• Knowledge of banana pre & post-harvest quality and export operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-handling capability.
• Marathi & Hindi – Mandatory | English Good communication.

KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regional Quality Management: Manage farm and cold-storage quality operations across assigned regions.
• End-to-End Quality: Take ownership of banana quality from Farm
• Harvesting Packing Dispatch Customer.
• Farm Quality: Manage farm evaluations, line audits, harvesting quality and field-level quality compliance.
• Cold Storage Quality: Manage CS QC operations, storage quality, ageing, shelf-life and dispatch quality.
• Team Management: Lead CS QC Executives and Farm/Line Auditors, allocate shifts, monitor performance and develop the team.
• Quality Trials: Plan and conduct shelf-life extension, packaging, liner and post-harvest trials and analyse results.
• Auditing: Conduct audits of farm, process, cold storage, fruit and non-fruit inventory.
• FIFO & Inventory: Ensure quality-based inventory management and strict FIFO for cold-stored material.
• Customer Quality: Ability to Analyse customer complaints, conduct RCA and drive corrective actions.
• Data & Reporting: Analyse quality data, prepare reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Technology: Good knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel, data analysis and Al tools.
• Decision Making: Ability to take timely quality decisions and handle critical operational situations independently.
• Leadership: Strong ownership, communication, problem-solving and people-management skills
• Travel: Willingness to travel across regions for farm and operational quality activities.
