Role Overview

As an Agronomist at Kryzen Biotech, you will be responsible for end-to-end crop planning, execution, and performance monitoring for hydroponic and protected cultivation projects.

This role is for someone who enjoys field work, problem-solving, and accountability, not desk-only advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Crop planning for hydroponic & protected cultivation systems (NFT, Grow Bags, Dutch Buckets, Polyhouse, NVPH)
• Prepare and monitor nutrient schedules (EC/PH/fertigation plans)
• Diagnose crop issues: nutrient deficiencies, pest/disease, physiological stress
• Support project execution teams during farm setup & commissioning
• Conduct farm visits, inspections, and corrective action plans
• Train farmers and farm staff on best agronomic practices
• Maintain crop performance data, yield reports, and improvement plans
• Coordinate with sales & operations teams for technical validations
• Assist in training programs, demos, and masterclasses (optional but preferred)

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agronomy (BSc/MSc)
• 1-5 years of practical experience (hydroponics experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of plant nutrition, fertigation, and crop physiology
• Comfortable with field travel and on-site problem solving
• Ability to explain complex agronomy in simple language
• Data-driven mindset with commercial awareness
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow fast
