Reva Agritech is a fast-growing agrochemical company focused on delivering effective crop protection solutions and building a strong distribution network across India.
We are looking for a high-performing Area Sales Manager who can take ownership of the assigned territory, drive revenue, and build long-term relationships across the channel ecosystem.
Role Objective
To develop, manage, and scale the assigned territory by strengthening dealer networks, increasing product penetration, and consistently achieving sales targets in the agrochemical segment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and seasonal sales targets for the assigned territory
- Drive secondary sales through dealers and retailers
- Ensure effective product placement and visibility in the market
Channel Development
- Identify, appoint, and activate new dealers and distributors
- Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners
- Ensure proper stock flow and liquidation at all levels
Field Execution & Demand Generation
- Conduct regular field visits, farmer meetings, and demo trials
- Educate farmers on product usage, benefits, and crop solutions
- Build trust and brand recall in the local market
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and schemes
- Identify market gaps and recommend growth strategies
- Share regular insights on crop trends and demand patterns
Collections & Reporting
- Ensure timely collections and maintain credit discipline
- Submit daily/weekly reports on sales, field activity, and feedback
Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in pesticide/agrochemical sales (mandatory)
- Strong existing network of dealers, distributors, and retailers
- Deep understanding of local crops, pest challenges, and farmer behavior
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive fieldwork
- Must be willing to travel across assigned territory (two-wheeler preferred)
