A Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales performance, managing and developing the field, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue and growth targets within the assigned area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Agribusiness / Marketing or a related field (B.Sc. Ag preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in agri-input sales, preferably in seed industry
- Strong understanding of crop cycles, seed varieties, and local farming practices
- Basic understanding of R&D-based seed products and ability to explain benefits to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners
- Ensure proper execution of sales processes, policies, and compliance
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing, Training, and Operations
- Ensure timely reporting and data accuracy
