QUALIFICATION: B.Sc./Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of relevant experience in strawberry cultivation/protected cultivation preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CROP MANAGEMENT: Plan & execute the complete crop cycle in protected conditions.

FERTILIZATION & IRRIGATION: Manage irrigation, nectar, and pit and system performance.

PEST & DISEASE MANAGEMENT: Implement IPM practices and ensure healthy disease free crops.

YIELD & QUALITY MANAGEMENT: Achieve yield, quality and growth A targets with minimal rejection.

TEAM & MANPOWER MANAGEMENT: Lead, train and monitor team for productivity and discipline.

INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT: Maintain polyhouse, irrigation, fertilization systems & equipment.

COST & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Controls, reduce wastage and improve resource utilization.

HARVEST & POST-HARVEST MANAGEMENT: Ensure proper harvesting. grading, packing and timely dispatch.

INVENTORY & PROCUREMENT: Ensure timely availability and quality of inputs and maintain stocks.

DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING: Maintain records and submit regular reports & MIS.
