ASSISTANT MANAGER -SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/business administration, or Agri related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain operations and last mile operations with a focus on operation execution, warehouse/facility planning, inventory management, and agri based Companies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills. Has Managed 10+ On-Roll and 30+ Off-Role Employees.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Basic knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g. ERP systems, inventory management software, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Proficiency in Hindi and English are Mandatory.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Strategic Planning

• Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, including planners, buyers, logistics coordinators, and warehouse staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the supply chain team.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Warehouse/Facility Planning

• Collaborate with Supply/Demand teams to develop production.
• Schedules that meet customer demand while maximizing resource utilization
• Monitor facility progress and address any issues or constraints that may impact supply chain efficiency.
• Smooth Coordinate with cross-functional teams to en execution of production plans and schedules.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations.
• Monitor KPIs regularly and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve performance targets.
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

Cost Optimization

• Analyze cost drivers and inefficiencies within current processes and systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction across the supply chain. including Process flow, process Automation, manpower utilization and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and eliminate waste across different SC activities
