Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end development of carbon projects
• Evaluate project feasibility, baseline, additionality, and carbon potential
• Prepare and review PDDs and project documentation
• Coordinate with project developers, consultants, VVBs, and carbon standards
• Manage MRV, validation, verification, and issuance processes
• Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder requirements
• Stay updated on carbon-market standards, methodologies, and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Change, Engineering, Agriculture, Forestry, Economics, or a related field
• 3-7 years of experience in carbon markets, carbon projects, ESG, or sustainability
• Strong knowledge of Verra VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, CDM, or similar standards
• Understanding of MRV, additionality, baseline, permanence, and carbon-credit methodologies
• Strong project-management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Bonus: experience with ag/soil carbon methodologies (VM0042) or remote-sensing MRV
